Open Day

SAS Open Day

10 March 2016, 16:00 - 20:00

You are warmly invited to attend our Open Day on Thursday, 10 March, from 4-8pm. This event will showcase the School’s vast array of resources, including courses, training programmes, libraries, archives, and digital tools. A panel discussion on applying for and funding a research degree in the humanities will be of special interest to prospective postgraduate students at both the master’s and PhD levels. Tours of Senate House will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the history and architectural features of this special building.

Our commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death kicks off with a special spoken-word performance by Bards without Borders, a printmaking demonstration, a sneak peek of Senate House Library’s new exhibition ‘Shakespeare: Metamorphosis’, and a talk by Dr Nick Barratt, the library's Associate Director for Collections and Engagement.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration via Eventbrite is required. We hope to see you in March!
