Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships

All SAS member institutes welcome proposals from suitably qualified applicants for the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships scheme. These prestigious grants support individual, transnational fellowships for promising researchers seeking employment in member states, associated countries and some non-associated countries*, based on an application made jointly by the researcher and host organisation.

This scheme is offered via five different panels to reflect the applicants’ career stage and place of origin. The School welcomes applications for three of these panels: European Fellowships, Reintegration Panel, Career Restart Panel. A list including all five panels and their respective characteristics can be found here.

Funding for European Fellowships will support eligible researchers for a period of 12 to 24 months. The living allowance reference rate for experienced researchers is €55,800 per year (€4,650 per month). The allowances are subject to country correction. Researchers in some categories will also receive a mobility allowance of €600 per month and a family allowance of €500 per month.

Anyone wishing to apply through the School of Advanced Study should submit expressions of interest to the Director of their chosen Institute, copying research@sas.ac.uk,  before Monday 1 August 2016. The expression of interest should include the following:

• CV
• An outline (2 pages max.) of the research proposal, including intended publication outputs
• A 100-word abstract
• Identification of potential mentor if not the Director

Applicants to be supported by the School of Advanced Study will be informed by Monday 8 August 2016.
